Goiko Leganés

This place is so shinny, vibrant, and looks fantastic... kinda like a peanut MM but more like a rotten Peanut MM the kind that ruins your palet. We wanted to believe but alas we were let down horribly by the staff and food (1 star for the decorators). First off the place was packed and we were told it would be an hour+. To the surprise of the specky manager? We returned. He hastily sat us by the staircase to the bathroom which was constantly busy and people literally had to squeeze by our table. We both wanted to try the daiquiri (big mistake) literally next to no alcohol and 90% pulp.. I was able to hold it upside-down. The server/manager (156m, glasses, darkhair) was very smug with us and even scoffed when we ordered unprovoked. Food wise we ordered "the Kevin Cosner" and "the Kevin Bacon" with potatoes and sweet fries. After a LONG wait the food arrived looking like a replated burger from McDonald's. Man was this thing dried out and cold... Specks never asked us if things were alright or if we wanted condiments (I woulda sent the burger back). The sweet potato fries were cold and soggy and the potatoes had age spots and were never cleaned with a really degraded skin left on. I've been working in kitchens for my whole adult life and I have never come across such a depressing burger / meal (€45). This location needs new leadership, you cook how you feel and obviously this kitchens heart is broken. We really wanted to try the deserts but we were sick and I think he wanted to push us out like the rest of the cattle. Atleast that's what the whole experience looked like and felt like. Giving priority to the tables of girls with only beer and no food. I'm a 4-5 star guy with reviews maybe 3 if warranted so stay far from this place until they get someone new. As for this chain I might give them a second chance but the district manager should take a walk around the neighborhood and see what it has to offer in competition.
