The Cellar

Great find! Delicious interesting dishes and cheeses (their own especially- cross between gruyere and cheddar) washed down with superb New York IPA. Friendly service despite staff shortages. Enjoyable evening.

So, I have to be that guy. I called ahead at 7:30pm and the restaurant explicitly states they are open until 9pm. Its raining outside. When I called I was told that they are slow tonight and reservations are not needed and to just come on in. My wife and I walk 20 minutes, in the rain, and arrive at 8:10pm with intentions to have a quick and fun meal. We are met in the front by a concerned looking man with black hair who stops us from going to the hostess. He tells us that the kitchen is closed and that we can only get cocktails. He is unapologetic about the fact that the restaurant is listed as open until 9pm. We are in midtown Manhattan, are you absolutely kidding right now? We called ahead, checked the website, navigated via Google. How could this have gone wrong?

Este lugar es una bofetada. Recomiendo la sopa de tomate y las albóndigas de queso a la plancha. No puedo esperar a mi próxima visita.

¡Nuestra experiencia esta noche fue FANTÁSTICA! Nuestro camarero fue increíble! Siento que es difícil conseguir un buen servicio, pero el nuestro de esta noche fue sin esfuerzo. Los macarrones con queso, todos y cada uno de los tipos (porque los obtuvimos todos) fueron increíbles. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante por la comida y el servicio.

Es un poco caro pero la trata de queso esta buenisima sin embargo la ensalada cesar es solo lechuga y es muy cara. Hay happy hours de 5 a 7pm
