Jaiya

Food was great as expected with Jaiya. They got two of our orders wrong but corrected the mistakes when we pointed it out to them. Main issue we had: Staff seated us, party of 7 (includes toddler and an infant) next to the entrance. There was a cold draft so we requested to be moved further inside. We were refused…reasoning: customers are only seated in available seats when they walk in (when we walked in those tables were occupied, but were empty when we asked to be moved). i’ve only ever dined at the Jaiya in UES and never had a negative dining experience there. Will not be coming back to this location. Can’t wait for the UES location to reopen. Great food should NOT be overshadowed by subpar dining experience.
